Paris...

I had forgotten about this polaroid of paris mainly as it was hung on my wall, its the lovely view out of the window of my hostel. Beautiful.

Somewhere in the past five years New York hipsters, bull dykes, rednecks, and German country singers all became the exact same amazing person.

We got chickens. The chicken's have nothing to do with the title of this post thank vice magazines dos and don'ts for that.

Ryan McGinley

I came across this image when looking for Ryan McGinley's book Moonmilk its from his website I just think its absolutely beautiful and looks like another world. Go to his website and look at his many photos of normal looking naked people alongside his other worldy images he's also done alot of good work for vice and other such publications. I think I may have talked myself into buying the Moonmilk book... http://www.ryanmcginley.com/

Doctor Who

I may not be 7 years old but I genuinely love Doctor Who I feel I’m well outside its target market and it may not be quite up there with the wire or twin peaks for me but its pure unadulterated fun that really can be enjoyed on a number of levels and of course has the greatest theme tune of any television show ever (okay maybe Bergerac beats it ever so slightly or perhaps not...)

Godspeed you! Black Emperor.

The best news Godspeed are reforming to play atp nightmare before christmas... Thats the best christmas present ever surely... One of my all time favourite bands just utterly beautiful and tragic sounding all at once.

Dwayne in little miss sunshine has it about right.

The only time in my adult life it has ever been sunny where I was born

Literally the only street in the place I grew up. My first Memory involves the day I left riding a little three wheeler before it was put in the removal van.

It has a train platform for escaping.
This is the whole of New Holland when I hate this place I'm still glad I'm not there atleast.

Fear and Loathing...

I feel I completely missed the point of fear and lothing the first time I read it, I wasn't able to see past the drugs and see what it was getting at. I missed the fear for the way the world was going. Thats my vaguely political blog for the day the election was called even though surely everyone knew it to be he case. I find it odd a whole day of news can be given over to what kind of amounts to an old story everyone has known for months. I see the fear Hunter S. Thompson saw in choices if they can be called that, that have to be made when there really is no choice.
