Just watched the best film of the year hands down. Some images I liked as I watched absolutely beautiful and dirty and ugly at the same time. Another reason why nothing in Hollywood can touch anything coming out of France. Give me intense, real beauty everytime. I may have to write about it properly when its all sunk in.

The XX. Somewhat of a cliche it seems now but fantastic none the less.
Not where the blogs name comes from just incase, it actually comes from the english translation of my favourite film The beat that my heart skipped (De battre mon coeur s'est arrĂȘtĂ©) watch it.
Centre Pompidou- photos of photos and other art
Diane Arbus alongside other notable women in art hopefully no copyright laws are broken with my photos of photos... Along with some Rothko and Pollock which are absolutely stunning up close, why more galleries don’t let you take photos is a semi mystery that I’m sure involves gift shops and the like. I have far more where this came from...

Paris again.... Roland Garos and more...
If your ever in Paris get to Roland Garos even if you don’t like tennis (how can it be possible not to like tennis) great tour and it beats disney land by far... If you like tennis and you’ve never been to disney land. Great Museum of tennis so just go!
Some Centre Pompidou shots again as it had the best book shop in the world alongside its lovely and extensive collection of modern art in fact best gallery ever comes to mind
Garde du nord... back to England.

Paris... Not quite technically...
The Palace at Versailles was the most culturally disgusting building I've ever set foot in as it bizarrely seemed to hold no history or sense of what happened there or what it helped lead to. However I did enjoy the most exhilarating bike ride of my life through the grounds which seemed to go on forever and also the funniest drive around in a golf cart involving the most elaborate overtaking move in the history of overtaking in a golf cart, I oddly don't have a single picture of either event for some pictures of that I direct you to Mr Piers Hunday and Mr Michael Kelly who should have some pictures on there facebooks...
